sti….a lot more fun to drive

go with the subaru, ive owned 2 mustangs and wish i hadnt, im much happier in my scooby, and the sti 6 speed can take ALOT of abuse, im not sure on the cobra’s potential but, its a mustang, so who cares?

Simply because the Subaru’s newer and has a standard kick-butt suspension and drive-line system, the Subaru. The Ford Mustang Cobra was never a “good” car for much else other than riding around really fast on the straight stretches on the highway. That, and the maintenance was and always has been a pain in the wazoo on the Mustangs. And with 360 H.P. at the wheels, how could you NOT want the Subaru? Besides, it gets better gas mileage too.

Subaru is known for quality engines and suspension, and if it is AWD then your in for a much safer vehicle. I personally like both, but I would choose the subaru, mainly because it will last longer, and the price for subaru parts are really not much higher.

As long as the STI is modified properly then it is a better car. Stock for stock the STI is a quicker and better handling car. Cobra is only a little faster accelerating at higher speeds. Plus the AWD makes the STI so much easier to manage high HP compared to a RWD car. Specially in a little rain or even a cold day. Just know that 360 to the wheels is about a 100HP increase over stock and that’s a lot of power if you’re not used to it. Don’t go getting your self killed.

stay away from Mustangs, please, we don’t need anymore mustang lovers out there. Subaru? Not too fond of them, or the evo for that matter… I guess I just don’t really like their body styling, they look kinda cheezy to me, but not nearly as bad as the 08!! I like BMW, you should check some out before you make your decision. The worst thing you can do is rush into buying a car, especially for that price. Remember, you have to drive this thing day in and day out, don’t get something that will get boring after the “new” wears off.

If the STi is in good condition I would say buy it. If it is your friends car, you should know how he treats it.

The STi’s have great running gear, and with 360hp at the wheels will be a quick car.

the 03 cobra svt, is a good choice, its fast but it is **** ugly. Get the subie it is newer and you know how good it is because its your friends.

Go with the Subie, it’s newer anyway
