Grooming The Car For Your Wedding
Weddings are as sweet and romantic as they are very expensive. Let us not argue that fact. From the time leading to the big event when the boyfriend flashes out the engagement ring to his honey to the honeymoon break, everything stinks of a dollar sign. But as any penny pincher will tell you, you can always cut cost.
Saving shouldn’t be a tragic affair. Your dream wedding is still possible even with a decreased budget. Say, instead of the easily-wilt tulips, have roses or carnation in the identical color. Or, you can look for cheaper shops that can give you a bargain if you truly like that kind. Mementos may be handmade, clothes may be sewn or rented, catering may be home-cooked, and organizers and music may be friend volunteers. Nearly everything can be purchased cheaper.
There are things that, no matter how much you try, stay expensive. Your wedding car can cost you from a few hundred dollars to more than a thousand. Even the relatively cheaper car rental services still cost hundreds of dollars.
So why not use your own old but running car instead? Turn something old into vintage. The difference is old is out-of-date, but vintage is retro. Retro is so in right now, people are actually going for it. So even if you have a decades-old auto, you can save a lot of money by turning it into a vintage wedding car.
Start by grooming your prized ride. The good thing about grooming your own car to serve on your wedding day is that not only will it save you hundreds of dollars, you also get to restore your car’s grandeur as well. And this just won’t last for a few hours on your wedding day. Think about it: you have to maintain your auto anyway, so why not completely go for the total grooming service on your big day?
Today, everything vintage is revered. You don’t have to concern yourself even if your car doesn’t scream high-end. Your old Volks would even do if it is still in good working shape. Color isn’t a factor anymore too. It is true that white was the only way to go in the past, but nowadays, any other hue available will do so don’t worry about swapping car paint colors.
But of course, don’t forget the “necessary” ornaments. Add the blossoms on the hood and the the “Just Married” streamer at the back of the car and you’re all set.
