Put the bike through its paces in different conditions and various speeds and ensure the brakes and gears feel good. Also is the steering responsive and do the dials all work properly?
Check the condition of the bike closely when you have finished the test drive, look all over at the bodywork, exhaust, the seat and under the seat. Check for loose wiring. Also ask if the bike still has its owner manual and ideally this should have the full service history of the bike. This is a bonus if included, but not the end of the world if it’s not.
